It has been one of my life goals to be of service to others. Over the course of my career I have gravitated towards professional positions that provide me with service opportunities. I’m fortunate to have found a profession, firm and colleagues that allow me to realize my goal every day.

Abraham Maslow (Self Actualization) described “Peak Experiences” as follows:

“Feelings of limitless horizons opening up to the vision, the feeling of being simultaneously more powerful and also more helpless than one ever was before, the feeling of ecstasy and wonder and awe, the loss of placement in time and space with, finally, the conviction that something extremely important and valuable had happened, so that the subject was to some extent transformed and strengthened even in his daily life by such experiences.”

While I make no claim to be “self actualized,” I am fortunate to be engaged in important and fulfilling work that provides many peak experiences. Furthermore, none of this is by accident, and I’m not alone at The Griffing Group.
